greetings

Dear colleagues,

It is a great pleasure to invite you to the "1st International Brain-Storming School - Focus on long-term treatment", which is taking place in Kallithea-Chalkidiki, Greece at the Pallini Hotel, on September 27th - 29th, 2013.
The course is organized by the International Society of Neurobiology and Psychopharmacology under the support and the guidance of the World Psychiatric Association.
The course aims at being useful for the clinician who fights everyday in the first line for the treatment of real-world patients. In this frame, our goal is to provide a global and comprehensive update of the newest developments in Psychiatry and allied sciences, in a way which should be both focused and enriched.
The central axis is the teaching and application of clinical and updated useful knowledge with special focus on the informed treatment in a truly multidisciplinary approach.
Medical scientists and public health policy makers are increasingly concerned that the scientific discoveries are failing to be translated efficiently into tangible human benefit. Today, in an all the more complex and technologically advanced environment, the human factor emerges again as the most valuable one, the factor that determines the final outcome.

We are looking forward to your active participation in order to make our meeting scientifically rewarding and we welcome you, in the shadow of the Holy Mount Athos, to the beautiful peninsula of Chalikidiki, wishing you will all enjoy a rich scientific and social program.
